FieldworkHub is a long-standing client with three Oxygen websites that we continue to support and maintain. For their main website, they wanted a rebuild that would improve performance, make the content easier to navigate, and give their team far more control over day-to-day updates.
The design was supplied by the FieldworkHub team, and our role was to bring it to life in Oxygen 6 with a clean, flexible, and maintainable build. The site includes a wide range of content sections, from service overviews and client testimonials to case studies, industry pages, research methods, team content, accreditations, and calls-to-action.
A major part of the project was restructuring the site so visitors could understand FieldworkHub’s services more easily. Their work spans UK and international market research, participant recruitment, focus groups, interviews, online research, healthcare research, and more, so the content needed to be organised clearly without overwhelming users.
We built the site using Oxygen 6 and ACF Pro, with ACF powering almost the entire website. FieldworkHub can update the majority of the copy and imagery themselves, add new content through repeater fields, manage cards, update page sections, add case studies, edit testimonials, and maintain key content areas without needing developer support for every small change.
This gives the FieldworkHub team a much more practical editing experience behind the scenes, while keeping the front-end layout consistent and controlled. Reusable field groups and structured content areas mean they can add to the site without breaking the design or creating messy one-off layouts.
Performance was also an important part of the rebuild. The previous site needed improvement in PageSpeed Insights, so the new build focused on a lighter, cleaner structure, better content organisation, and a more efficient Oxygen setup while still allowing the site to remain highly editable.
The end result is a modern, flexible Oxygen 6 website that stays true to FieldworkHub’s supplied design, performs better, and gives their team far more independence when managing content. It is a developer-built site that behaves more like a bespoke content platform, which is exactly what they needed.
