The Shannon O’Hara website (shannon-ohara.com) is part of a broader multi-site ecosystem and was developed entirely by WinuSoft using Oxygen Classic. Designed to handle heavy traffic, complex user access logic, and thousands of WooCommerce orders, it’s one of the most technically intricate projects we’ve ever worked on.
Built using Oxygen Classic, this site makes full use of Oxygen templates, ACF fields, and a vast library of WPCodeBox snippets. The backend is tightly structured, with custom PHP controlling everything from design continuity to user access across different content types. The Shannon O’Hara team can manage almost every aspect of the site without ever needing to open Oxygen – making it easy to maintain consistency while empowering their internal team.
Access to content is handled through a custom-coded WPFusion integration with Infusionsoft. Users are tagged in the CRM, and those tags determine what content they can see or download across the site. We wrote the code that bridges this system, giving fine-grained control over gated courses, videos, products, and more.
This access logic extends across multiple connected sites – including Talk To The Entities and Get Your Magic. Once a user logs in on any one of these platforms, they’re automatically logged in across all three. This shared login experience offers seamless movement between related brands and ensures unified access control through WPFusion.
The site features a large WooCommerce store with hundreds of digital products, supported by extensive customisation. Alongside WooCommerce, we built several custom post types – including Events – all powered by ACF and rendered using Oxygen templates. Events are managed as a CPT (rather than using an events plugin), allowing greater control over structure, relationships, and presentation.
The goal of the build was to allow the SO team to manage the site confidently without needing Oxygen access. To achieve this, we built all post types and structured content using ACF, ensuring everything fits into Oxygen’s template system. This keeps the site fast, secure, and visually consistent without relying on the client to manage layouts.
At launch, we handled the complete import of all users, products, and WooCommerce orders from the previous site. Using WP All Import, we ensured everything was mapped cleanly into the new structure, preserving order history and user access without disruption.
All customer downloads – whether purchased via Shannon O’Hara or Talk To The Entities – are accessed through Get Your Magic, a connected portal site within the same ecosystem. This cross-site experience is entirely powered by WPFusion and our custom code, ensuring users have consistent access to the content they’ve purchased, no matter which site it originated from.
WinuSoft led the development of this entire platform, working closely with the Shannon O’Hara team to execute their design and implement their vision. We continue to manage the site and its associated ecosystem, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance as their global audience grows.
