How To Use Stylus to Customise the Oxygen Builder 6 Interface

Edit – I’ve updated the styles to increase the font-size in the properties pane, and also to make the properties sidebar wider. You can use this link to check for updates and reinstall the styles if you wish: https://userstyles.world/api/style/21954.user.css.
The Oxygen Builder 6 interface brought some exciting UI changes, but not everyone loves the darker, high-contrast look. If you find the interface a bit too dark, harsh on the eyes, or simply difficult to read during long build sessions, you’re not alone.
Unfortunately, Oxygen Builder 6 doesn’t offer any native settings to customise the UI’s appearance—no built-in light mode, no theme options. That’s where Stylus, a free browser extension, becomes a real game-changer.
Stylus allows you to override and restyle the Oxygen Builder 6 interface to better suit your workflow. Whether you want a softer colour palette, higher contrast text, or a full light theme, you can tailor the builder to be more comfortable and efficient for you. In just a few minutes, you can transform the Oxygen experience into something easier on the eyes—perfect for those long design marathons.
In this guide, I’ll show you how to get started with Stylus and apply my ready-made style for Oxygen.
What is Stylus?
Stylus is a free browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that lets you apply custom CSS to specific websites or tools – including the Oxygen Builder interface. With it, you can change colours, improve contrast, or even completely overhaul the visual layout.
The WinuSoft Oxygen Builder 6 Theme
To make things easier, we’ve created a custom WinuSoft theme for Stylus that:
- Lightens up the dark Oxygen 6 UI
- Adds clearer outlines around elements
- Introduces alternate colours for tabs
- Highlights selected items more visibly
This theme is designed for builders who spend hours in Oxygen and want a clearer, less fatiguing interface.
